Industrial Servicing of Machines Using A/R

This example uses augmented reality to support a learning product we created for a nuclear industry service company. They needed a way to properly identify and efficiently service a pump within a controlled environment. Technicians need to enter the environment with minimal tools and resources on their person. The pumps are unique to their application and facility so often a technician is not completely trained on that specific unit. A proprietary augmented reality prototype was built allowing technicians to use their smartphones to capture and analyze an image of the equipment. After the identification is verified, the technician can pull up schematics, manuals, videos, etc.
