CDC Psychological First Aid in Radiation Disasters
This example is from “Psychological First Aid in Radiation Disasters”, an e-Learning course we developed for the CDC. The target audience, the response community, must know psychological first aid in order to handle the unique psychological aspects of victims of a mass casualty radiation disaster. This course is a self-study training providing interviews of the actual experts involved in the Goiania and Three Mile Island incidents. Instructional scenarios show participants psychological first aid techniques applied in a variety of response settings.
