ICCR Mobile App prototype
This prototyping example is from a product built for the CDC called Internal Contamination Clinical Reference (ICCR) mobile app for CDC. This app is essentially a job aid that assists clinicians with calculations from the very involved and complex ICCR manual. It estimates reference concentrations of radionuclides in urine assuming intakes equal to one clinical decision guide (CDG) for each radionuclide. The screen mockups functioned as a prototype allowing us to quickly show and test the functionality and features. This ensured the design was on the right track before beginning the more expensive phase of programming.
