FASD-Training Plan
This lesson plan is from a course developed for the CDC on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). FASDs conditions can occur in a person whose mother consumed alcohol during pregnancy. FASDs are completely preventable if a woman does not drink alcohol during pregnancy. The CDC tasked us with developing and evaluating web-based training courses to educate health professionals on various aspects of FASD. A training-project plan guided the development of modules and included the learning objectives, project tasks and milestones, review schedules, content outline, student evaluations, the piloting process, and how the courses would be implemented through the LMS.
