CONNECT
During the time period of 2011-2014, a total of 68 e-learning courses were developed for IAEA in this EC funded project. They covered a wide range of subjects concerning nuclear energy and radioactive waste management; such as disposal options, safety case development, polices and strategy etc.
The lectures were all assessment based and SCORM compliant and they contained an assortment of rich media such as video, audio narration, student interactions, glossaries, resources, self-assessments and knowledge checks.
The example is one of several in a series of lectures on the subject of disposal and handling of radioactive waste, located on the CONNECT platform. This particular lecture covers the management of disused sealed radioactive sources.
